The Government has assured that all students who have qualified for direct admission to institutions of higher learning will receive funding under the new model to continue with their education. The students, who are placed in universities and colleges, by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), have to apply for Government sponsorship, loans and scholarships and will be assessed for eligibility under the new funding model,  said Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba Migos
